Contivaro Vault

The copy ransomware cannot erase.

Modern ransomware takes administration, then hunts for the backups. The Vault is out of reach: write-locked, on another site, with other credentials.

Who it is forFirms with servers, physical or virtual, on site or with a host, whose current backups are reachable from production.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do we have to change backup software?

Usually not. Most can write to object storage with a lock. Otherwise we install an agent.

What happens if we are attacked?

The Vault keeps a clean copy predating the attack. Recovery runs on a clean environment, not on the compromised infrastructure.

Does the lock prevent housekeeping?

It delays deletion by the fixed period. Beyond that, normal rotation resumes.
